Inspired by the brutal, but innovative Group B rally cars of the ’80s, the Autodromo Group B features sharp lines, hard facets, technical detailing, a combined steel and titanium construction, and contrasting colors that speak to the futurist visions of Giugiaro and Mead. For the Series 2 an integrated steel bracelet, as well as spring-bar lugs, have been added to this daring design. Featuring a slatted design, the bracelet builds off of the severe design of the case, creating a seamless line of metal around the wrist. Because of the traditional lug design, 20mm two-piece straps (sold separately) can now also be used as well.
Inside of the Group B Series 2 is the Miyota 9015 automatic caliber. This Japanese-made movement is quickly becoming an industry workhorse, due to its reliability and delightfully thin profile. The 9015 features 24-jewels, date, hand-winding, 42-hour power reserve, a frequency of 28,800 bph (beats per hour) and hacking seconds (the second-hand stops when the crown is pulled out).
