Swiss brand Corum has always forged its own path.
In 1966, the company released its Romvlvs collection — a Roman-inspired product family with an instantly recognizable bezel engraved with Roman numerals. While many different iterations of the Romvlvs exist, from basic time-only watches to perpetual calendars and tourbillons, the chronograph iterations are especially well balanced and neat.
This particular Romvlvs Chronograph is a special limited edition of 1,500 pieces. Housed in a 44mm stainless steel case with a black cabochon crown, a Roman numeral-stamped steel bezel, dual ‘doorstop’ pushers, and an unusual beveled sapphire crystal, it features a black dial with applied indices, a lumed ‘sword’ handset, a dual-register chronograph, and a date window at 6:00.
Powering the Romvlvs Chronograph is a chronometer-certified automatic movement, while a stainless steel H-link bracelet with alternating brushed and polished surfaces completes the package. If you’re looking for a funky, left-of-center chronograph with a bit of Italian flair, we’ve got the perfect timepiece for you.
